Nevada Notice of Rent Increase
Give written notice before raising rent on a Nevada tenancy. Follow the lease and Nevada notice rules. Local rent-control rules can cap the amount even when the notice period is met.
- A month-to-month tenancy generally takes 30 days’ written notice (Nev. Rev. Stat. § 40.251).
- This notice is not an eviction and not a new lease.
- City rent-control or just-cause rules may still limit the increase.
