Texas Move-Out Condition Checklist
Walk the Texas unit at surrender and write down condition before you send the deposit accounting. Unused deposit is generally due within 30 days (Tex. Prop. Code §§ 92.103, 92.104, 92.107). Compare this list to the move-in checklist.
- Usual return clock: 30 days.
- Ordinary wear and tear is not deductible.
- Ask for a written forwarding address and record whether keys were returned.
