Vermont Month-to-Month Rental Agreement
A Vermont month-to-month tenancy continues until someone ends it with proper notice. Notice to end a periodic tenancy is generally 21 days if the tenant has lived there under two years, and 60 days if two years or more (Vt. Stat. Ann. tit. 9, § 4467). Vermont does not set a statewide maximum security deposit.
