Montana Month-to-Month Rental Agreement

A Montana month-to-month tenancy continues until someone ends it with proper notice. Either party may end a month-to-month tenancy with at least 30 days’ written notice (Mont. Code Ann. § 70-24-441). Montana does not set a statewide maximum security deposit.
