Louisiana Month-to-Month Rental Agreement
A Louisiana month-to-month tenancy continues until someone ends it with proper notice. A month-to-month lease generally takes 10 days’ written notice before the end of the month (La. Civ. Code art. 2728). Louisiana does not set a statewide maximum security deposit.
