Alabama Month-to-Month Rental Agreement

A Alabama month-to-month tenancy continues until someone ends it with proper notice. Either party may end a month-to-month tenancy with at least 30 days’ written notice (Ala. Code § 35-9A-441). Alabama does not set a statewide maximum security deposit.
