Alaska Notice of Rent Increase
Give written notice before raising rent on a Alaska tenancy. Follow the lease and Alaska notice rules. Local rent-control rules can cap the amount even when the notice period is met.
- Either party may end a month-to-month tenancy with at least 30 days’ written notice (Alaska Stat. § 34.03.290).
- This notice is not an eviction and not a new lease.
- City rent-control or just-cause rules may still limit the increase.
