Alabama Notice of Rent Increase
Give written notice before raising rent on a Alabama tenancy. Follow the lease and Alabama notice rules. Local rent-control rules can cap the amount even when the notice period is met.
- Either party may end a month-to-month tenancy with at least 30 days’ written notice (Ala. Code § 35-9A-441).
