New York Lease Renewal Offer

Propose a new term and rent for an existing New York tenancy. Until both sides sign, the current lease and New York notice rules still control.

• Notice to end or raise rent on a periodic tenancy is generally 30, 60, or 90 days depending on how long the tenant has lived there (N.Y. Real Prop. Law § 226-c).
