Michigan Lease Renewal Offer

Propose a new term and rent for an existing Michigan tenancy. Until both sides sign, the current lease and Michigan notice rules still control.

• A month-to-month tenancy generally takes one rental period’s written notice, often 30 days (Mich. Comp. Laws § 554.134).
• A signed renewal is what changes the term. This paper is the offer.
• Do not use a renewal to skip Mich. Comp. Laws § 554.602.
