New Mexico Month-to-Month Rental Agreement

A New Mexico month-to-month tenancy continues until someone ends it with proper notice. Either party may end a month-to-month tenancy with at least 30 days’ written notice (N.M. Stat. Ann. § 47-8-37). The usual security-deposit cap is 1× monthly rent.
