Maryland Month-to-Month Rental Agreement
A Maryland month-to-month tenancy continues until someone ends it with proper notice. A month-to-month tenancy generally takes 30 days’ written notice, and some longer occupancies take 60 days (Md. Code Ann., Real Prop. § 8-402). The usual security-deposit cap is 1× monthly rent.
