Maine Month-to-Month Rental Agreement

A Maine month-to-month tenancy continues until someone ends it with proper notice. A month-to-month tenancy generally takes 30 days’ written notice (Me. Stat. tit. 14, § 6002). The usual security-deposit cap is 2× monthly rent.
