Alabama Eviction Notice
Alabama’s URLTA uses a 7-day pay-or-quit and a 7-day cure notice for most residential defaults. After the deadline, the next step is a court filing, not self-help. This generator builds a written Alabama eviction notice (pay-or-quit, cure-or-quit, end-of-term, or unconditional quit) around those deadlines. It is not a court summons, and it is not permission to change the locks.
- Nonpayment notices are often 7 days.
- A curable breach generally takes 7 days to fix after written notice (§ 35-9A-421).
- This notice does not start a court case. If the tenant stays, file in the proper court and have the papers served.
